Bassett’s Tittensor Depot is strategically located on the A34, between Stafford and Stoke on Trent. We have excellent motorway links to the M6 (via Junction 14 from the south, and Junction 15 from the north), and cross-country via the A50 to the M1. When visiting our Depot, please report to Security on arrival, and you will be directed accordingly.

Bassett’s is proud to employ a first-class team of people, who are dedicated to providing a 'quality assured' service to our valued clients, and are the strength behind our transport operations. We welcome applications from potential new team members in the following areas:
Class 1 (C+E) Drivers: complete general haulage and pallet network deliveries and collections on a Monday to Friday basis (with occasional weekend work available) both in the local area and UK-wide. Start and finish times are based on customer requirements. In addition to our £13.23 per hour rate, drivers with an ADR qualification receive a weekly allowance of £20, and a payment of £35 is made to Moffett drivers, in weeks where Moffett work is completed. The subsistence allowance for occasional nights out (where applicable) is £26. Total Earning Potential is between £35,000 and £48,000+ per year, depending on the number of hours worked.
Class 2 (C) Day Drivers: to complete multi-drop pallet network deliveries in the ST postcode area and further afield. £11.37-12.34 per hour.
Working on a Monday to Friday basis (with occasional weekend work available), start and finish times are based on customer requirements. Our hourly rates are £11.37/hr for the first 48 hours, and £12.34/hr thereafter. Drivers with an ADR qualification receive a weekly allowance of £20.
Class 2 drivers are also given the opportunity to undertake funded Class 1 training with our own training school, Bassett's Transport Training, after successful completion of an initial period of employment.

All drivers are offered one module of funded Driver CPC training per year, and opportunities are available for additional training, including ADR qualifications and moffett licences.
